GUIDELINES TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Holy Family English Medium School, we believe that parental co-operation is indispensable for the proper education of children. To ensure the holistic development and progress of our students, we kindly request that you keep in constant touch with the school authorities regarding your child's progress.

Homework and Home Study:

  • Ensure that your child devotes the required time daily for homework and home study.

Progress Reports and Records:

  • Regularly check and sign your child’s Progress Report.

  • Monitor their absence and punctuality record.

  • Ensure that your child maintains proper grooming, including nail trimming, haircut, and wearing the correct uniform.

Communication:

  • Address any communications (requests or complaints) to the Principal. When writing, please mention your child’s Class, Section, and Admission Number.

Parent-Teacher Meetings:

  • The second Saturday of every month is designated for parent-teacher meetings. We encourage you to visit the school, meet your child’s teachers, and discuss their studies and behavior. We expect parents/guardians to attend these meetings regularly.

School Visits:

  • You are welcome to visit the school and meet your child or their teachers after school hours with prior permission from the Principal or Coordinators. Please refrain from entering classrooms during school hours.

Student Appearance and Participation:

  • Ensure your child is neat and well-groomed before sending them to school.

  • Encourage your child to participate in various school activities.

Updates and Fees:

  • Inform the school of any changes in your address or mobile number.

  • Meet the Principal in person to discuss any issues or provide suggestions for improvement.

  • Avoid private tutors as much as possible, as students often become reliant on them for homework.

Lunch Boxes:

  • If you bring a lunch box for your child, leave it at the gate with a tag specifying the name, class, and section.

Fee Payments:

  • Pay school fees on time. Before each exam, Hall Tickets will be issued only to students with no fee dues. An SMS will be sent regarding any pending fees.

School Attendance:

  • Refrain from requesting permission to take your child out of school during school hours for non-essential reasons. If your child is unwell or unusually tired, they should rest at home.

We appreciate your co-operation and commitment to your child’s education.

Warm regards,
